| Job Summary: | The Financial Specialist 2 requires excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills and considerable independence of planning, decision-making and action. This position requires coordination of complex center-wide billing activities. The Financial Specialist must interface with a wide variety of internal and external individuals and agencies, including staff and departments of Waisman Center and the University to ensure accuracy within the chargeback system. The chargeback system generates over 600 internal transfers totaling more than $250,000 per month. The Financial Specialist is also the purchasing site ccordinator for the Waisman Center managing all receipts for purchases on 51 pro cards, averaging 500 transactions per month, and ensuring appropriate funding is used for all transactions. This position is also responsible for coordinating purchases utilizing exercise funds and providing balances for 67 Waisman Center accounts utilizing the funds. | |
