| Job Summary: |
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Bursar (Financial Program
Supervisor), guide financial aid receipt, disbursement and reconciliation
according to specific rules, regulations and standards of federal, state and
private programs. This position requires an exceptional ability to make
independent judgements; weighing difficult, often conflicting regulations and
customer service requirements to provide accurate, accountable processing in a
busy, stressful environment. The person in this position is expected to: Maintain a high level of accurate information and a professional image in the Bursar's office and an understanding of the cash handling process. Take positive action in the changing environment to meet growing responsibility. Contribute to the maintenance of the Student accounts system. Demonstrate exceptional customer service by establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships with managers, supervisors, co-workers and all customers. Use effective team skills to contribute to the efficient operation of the work unit and the organization. Provide constructive feedback for the purpose of continuous improvement in a manner that is supportive of the Business Services Division and the Bursar's Office. | |
